Penny shows us her teeth
She won't show them off in a photo, but she was hamming it up for the video camera :)
I present, Penny's teeth (at the end of the video):

TEETH!
Last Friday when I got home from work, I peeked in Penny's mouth and there was her first tooth poking through- bottom right center. On Saturday the bottom left center joined to make a pair. She's growing up way too fast! She won't let me get a photo of the teeth, so here's some cuteness to hold you over in the meantime :) Have a great weekend!

I am a Child of God
I was baptized on June 13, 2010.
I wore my mom's Christening dress. It was made by my great grandma McNamara over 30 years ago and it was worn by mommy, Aunt Nicole, Aunt Rebecca and Aunt Melissa on their baptism days. In addition to my baptism bonnet, I had baptism handkerchief hats that I wore at Church. Mommy put them in the beautiful baptismal memory box Aunt Megan, Chris, Aunt Terra and Bill got for me. I can use them again on my wedding day!
I have the coolest godparents! Alex and Kellie are two of the most amazing cousins and I'm so lucky to have them in my life.
Here I am with mommy & daddy in church before the baptism.
Nana Lou & Poppa Charlie
Aunt Megan, Grandma and Grandpa
The Kadingo aunties
Nana Lou, Great Grandma Jeanne, Great Gram Kadingo, Great Grandma Thompson and Grandma. I'm wearing a dress made by my fourth Great Grandma, who was there with us in spirit.

4 months!
4 months...I can't believe she's 4 months old.
We had our 4 month doctor visit this morning. Penny weighs 14 lbs and 2 oz. She is 25.5 inches long. She's all about the 75th percentile right now. She only cried a little when she got her shots. She rolled over for the first time on her own in both directions for Aunt Nicole during playtime today. Mommy & Daddy caught the tail end of the first roll :)
We're gearing up for an exciting weekend! Penny is getting baptized on Sunday and the grandparents, great grandmas, aunties and some friends are coming to town for the big event. We're excited for everyone to be together and we'll post photos soon!

16 Weeks
It's hard to believe that sixteen weeks have passed since we met our baby girl. It's also hard to believe that it's been almost a whole year since we found out we were pregnant. June 7, 2009 was the day we found out that we were going to be parents. We spent nine months wondering if we were going to have a little boy or a little girl and dreaming about what our baby would be like. We read books about pregnancy, parenting and how to have a happy baby. We wandered through the stores, picking out the things we thought we'd need.
Along the way, we learned that it's the things we couldn't find in books or buy in stores that have meant the most. The help we've received from our families and friends has been amazing! The advice that is just a phone call away is both comforting and so very necessary! The feelings that we get when Penny smiles at us make every new day the best day yet. We've learned so much since Penny came into our lives and we've got so much to be thankful for! I hope that each and every one of you know how much we appreciate everything that you've done. And, most of all, I hope Penny knows just how happy she makes us! Love you baby girl :)
