Gingerbread houses are a Thompson family tradition. This year, Penny helped Grammy make the gingerbread.
And this year, instead of a house, Penny decorated her own cookie...I think she ate more icing and marshmallows than she put on the cookie!
Penny also helped Grammy make the icing for the houses! (note the artwork in the background- Daddy's gingerbread man circa 1985!)
Building is serious work!
Missy & Eric get in on the fun!
Frosted noses :)
Once they are built, we can start decorating!
Houses in progress!
Do you think we have enough candy?
Nana finished her house first!
Eric and his house
Grammy's house with the yummy roof!
I wonder who that house belongs to?
Candy cane street lamps- serious stuff!
We had a lot of fun building! What a great way to spend our Christmas Eve!
